This app is great! I dont have time to read every news article on a regular news site and keep on top of everything going on in the world/pop culture. This app combines the benefits of a news app, with the community of a social media app. Staance is definitely in its own league with this idea! I also love that you can log-in with Facebook... So much easier.

The idea for this app is cool, but it wont let you remove any interests from your feed such as #world or #gaming. If you choose any of them when you first sign up, theres no way to get rid of them. And you can choose to "follow" an interest which will send you notifications when something is posted, but what do you know, you cant unfollow interests either. Im deleting this app, but Ill download it again in the future and if they fix it.

Staance is a fun app that gets you thinking about real world issues and fun things too! I am on Staance all the time. Highly recommend.

I love the new update. It works really well with this platform. Speaking of the platform, its really great too. But it needs these things: Improved notification system, improved profile view and various bug fixes (which seem to have been fixed).

This update has made it super-easy to post, respond and engage like-minded people... and the rest of the world, too! Seriously, Staance is getting better and better, bravo!

Apryl, they person you email for help and support will refuse to help you if you disagree with her views. On the lucky chance she will decide to help you, she will meet you with bad attitude and sass. Other users being salty I can stand, but if its the support/help group, theres an issue.

This app is a great platform to express your ideas. But you must follow their strict guidelines to do so. Even if you are excellent at voicing your opinions, if you do it in a way they did not originally conceive they will CENSOR you. You would think an app created with such a message would encourage you to voice your opinion in whatever way you see fit. Luckily, other social media apps are not so close minded to their original conceptions. This is the reason this app will never become Facebook or Twitter or Instagram. The moderators are limited by their own prejudices.

I like how theres a lot a motivational section. Id like to see even more positivity on the app.

I dont see why other users are experiencing any difficulties with other members of the STAANCE community. I love the apps ability to create a network of like-minded individuals who have a passionate stance on almost any topic you could fathom! The new update has made STAANCE more stable and user friendly, allowing anyone to respond and post to a stance effectively. Honestly, I have played around with so many apps that allow you to take a position on a topic and this one takes the cake by far! I havent had any problems and its only been great debates on heated topics, and creating a network of like-minded individuals who I actually feel like we have things in common. Its not Twitter, so there are intelligent, thoughtful, and useful debates that relate to current events and trends we love to talk about! I say try the app and take a STAANCE on something youre passionate about!

Ive seen similar apps but none truly do it like this one, definitely showing all my friends!

Im only 13 years old but I still love to see what other people think and how their minds work and great opinions like that. I wish I could become a host but I dont know if I can if Im this young. Anyways, this app is just great and wonderful to see what is going on around you and people thoughts about it. Sure Im young but hey, the point of this app is to express your opinion, no matter how young or old you are.☺️

I like it but cant figure out how to post a stance

Upgraded to 9.3.1 and app freezes upon launch screen. App design choices are flummoxing. 1) its not a game or recording video/taking pics so why hide the status bar? 2) often new entries seem to be tied to or inspired by web links but theres no *intuitive* way to access said links. One would hope itd pop up a browser within the app like Twitter or Facebook. 3) following the commentary associated with an entry is likewise difficult, and if you write a longish response, the text box moves the "post" button out of view so you cant send the response unless you break it up. Concept is OK but it needs some work on this interface.

When I downloaded this app, I was under the impression that I would be able to ask my own questions as well. If STAANCE included the ability to do that, then this would be a cool app. They dont have every issue or question that I would be interested to know the public opinion on, and the only way they can hope to is by allowing the users to post their own questions.

I have been a Staance member and host for 3 months and this has quickly become one of my favorite and definitely most used app. There are mornings now where checking Staance is the first thing I do after waking up. Its such a great app, because it gives you a window into the mindset of our society. Whether youre debating politics, lifestyles, economics, or pop culture, youre able to talk with others around the world and hear what they think. Staance is one of the few apps where you learn something after each time you use it. Every day I learn something about myself, my beliefs, and our overall culture. There are a few updates that still need to be made, but Ive found the support staff is great. The community manager and marketing team are very receptive to any feedback and recommendations Ive had. I highly recommend this app to everyone. Its one of the best apps youll download.

They remove posts they dont like. How can you have a app based on opinions if your going to delete the ones you dont like!

Since Ive downloaded Staance Ive been addicted. In fact, there has yet to be a day where I dont log in to give my opinion. The premise is beyond great. It is executed well, despite its glitches. But there is a problem that no other social media has. If youre on Twitter and you hate on the Twitter platform- Twitter wont remove your tweet. Staance will. Staance is very much full of censorship and at first it doesnt seem bad but after a while its a bit annoying and contradictory. How are we supposed to express an opinion about things when Staance cant even take some constructive criticism itself? Dont get me wrong. Download the app. Engage. And above all. Have fun. But Staance, you better stop with the censorship or you will lose your faithful staancers- myself included.
